Dufferin Child and Family Services is a multi-service agency providing Child and Youth Mental Health, Child Protection and Developmental Support.
The agency currently requires:
1- Permanent Full Time – Manager, Developmental Support Services
Under the direction of the Director of Service, Clinical Services, this role is responsible for the oversight and support of the Coordinated Service Planning, Complex Special Needs, Service Coordination, FASD, SSAH and Passport Programs.

We are seeking an innovative individual with the ability to:
- Oversee and support the service delivery and reporting requirements of all developmental support service team programs, some of which are Dufferin specific and some of which span the geography of Dufferin and Guelph-Wellington.
- Provide leadership, support and management to members of the DSS team.
- Support the facilitation of knowledge sharing amongst service providers and families regarding available resources.
- Ensure the Director of Service is aware of pertinent service and risk issues as needed.
- Support service related meetings to assist in planning as required.
- Review and provide approval of service plans.
- Engage with community, including participating on relevant committees as required.
- Foster a positive team environment and strong collegial partnerships.
- Assist in identifying and addressing gaps, duplications, and efficiencies in practice from an agency, system, and community needs/strengths perspective.
- Support service integration across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in a Human Services related field.
- A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience overseeing individuals and a team of service providers.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience working with children/youth and families with complex and multiple needs.
- Demonstrated experience and ability in program and system development.
- Knowledge of outside resources, their appropriate use, and is able to work with other community groups and professionals.
- Well-developed inter-personal skills and emotional intelligence, with the ability to form relationships with colleagues, team members, service recipients and funders with ease.
- Demonstrated sound judgment, reasoning and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently, while knowing when to seek consultation and supervision.
- Highly proficient writing skills.
- A clear vulnerable sector, criminal record check.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance with access to own vehicle.

Hours of Work: 33 hours per week, typically over the course of Monday - Friday
Salary Range: $97,000- $113,000
